Leisure Run at Sai Kung after Dragon Boat Training

I believe cross training can enhance edurance while keeping my own fitness in my other sports activities. One of those is dragon boat.

The Dragon Boat Festival is on 12 Jun 2013 and I had my last dragon boat training this morning. I represent my mother University HKUST's dragon team for over 10 years.

However, this year lazy Siulek didn't joined much training due to job obligation, travel runs and races. Hence I had tried my best to pull out my effort in this training. Unfortunately, our boat got capsized in the middle of the sea while the sea was waving fiercely. Nevertheless our cooperation and skills are yet to be improved. Our last training was ruined. Lesser evil, none of us got hurt in the accident.

After the scary incident, I had a compensated lunch to wound my hurt.

Sai Kung is a famous tourist hotspot with many good restaurants. I had a delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice at a small Thai restaurant before I had my long run in the afternoon.

In order to familar with the tropical climate, I started my run at noon. It was hot and sunny, but I can feel the sun is smiling at me.  The sky was blue, the crouds were white and the mountains were green....

I ran from the sports ground towards Pak Tam Chung and moved like a snail.

The road was not busy on Saturday. I can feel the serenity while talking to the nature during the one and a half hour's run.
It goes without saying that I enjoyed the run very much!
