Sha Tin Riverside Big Fearless Team Training

Speed work can benefit trail running. For Hong Kong people, we usually train our fitness at sportsground after work on weekdays. Tonight I joined the training in Sha Tin Sports Ground.

Sha Tin Riverside Big Fearless Team is a simple and happy team. Runners joined together from a discussion forum and started their trainings.

The volunteer trainer Ryan did his good job to lead the team building up running capabilities and fitness. His training programme was scientific and effective.
Tonight the stronger runners took the 2.4K programme while the rest would ran 2K repetitions.
I was a bit late to leave office. Therefore, I could only join at the 3rd set after warming up. It was very humid and hot that I could hardly breathe! Lots of sweats dropped from runners. Fortunately, I could still run every set a little bit faster.
After the run, we had the dessert - fitness training. The first one was funny but it made our hands very painful as we required to use our hand to balance the whole body.
The second exercise was much easier for ladies as it focused onto our waist power.

This also evoked my memory of land training at Hong Kong Sports Institute when I was in the HKUST rowing team. Teammates, come on and Train hard. It's better, not bitter!
