Unfortunately due to the haze in Malaysia, the marathon was canceled and postponed to 29 Sep 2013. Some runners are disappointed by the news and blamed the cancellation, mainly for the reasons of wasting their training time, money and holidays.
However, I support the decision of the organizer as runners' health is the most important. There are lots of races and marathon every week, we always have another chance, provided that we keep a good body!
In my opinion, it's important for a distance runners to keep a positive mind. Anyway, my trip has been planned and I will enjoy a holiday in Malaysia with my running friends.
Tomorrow Siulek will step on Malaysian Island for the first time. I will try my best to be familar with the weather, food and culture so that when I arrive Sabah in Sep, I will be good in adaptation.
I wonder if I can still run a marathon 2 weeks right after the 100K... Still considering whether to join or not. Let's hope for the best!
Hi runners, see you in Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi soon!
Wish the air will be alright and I can run there...
